KAI QING is a child with autism. At just the age of 16, she exudes a sweet smile and still maintaining her best innocence. Her favourite hobby involves singing, swimming and drawing. For inspiration, as long as her favourite song is playing at the back, she would be quick to draw whatever inspired her, and will indulge in her creation from day till night. She is always very cheerful, because she is surrounded by many people who have showed her love generously, have given her support and encouragement, especially her mother…

The King of Her World

In our life, we journey through many worlds. We start off in the world as a child, we then grow through different stages of life which are worlds of their own. And what is each person’s world? Is it the present, past or future? Is it real, visionary, play or imaginary? For some it is more physical, for others more emotional, or mental. Or is it all a part of one world?
The “King of My World” is the depiction of the role and love of a Father in a Daughter’s world. He would be the protector, the provider, the stake in the ground that is steadfast and reliable through the many stages and aspects of her life. She may meet her Prince Charming some day and he may become the love of her life, but the Father will always be King in her World.
